Meet the osteopath
David Rodway, the practice principal, qualified in 1979 from the four year full-time course at the British School of Osteopathy, London with a Diploma in Osteopathy (DO) and became a member of the General Council and Register of Osteopaths. That body was superseded by the new statutory body, and in 2000 he became an osteopath registered by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
In 1990 he became an External Examiner for the GCRO / GOsC. In 1992 he was accepted onto the Law Society Register of Expert Witnesses. That year he also served as a member of the Welsh Health Planning Forum set up by the Welsh Office. Since 1997 he has been a Clinical Assessor for the NHS Complaints Process. In 2001 he was made a co-opted Member of the GOsC Communications Committee.
Osteopath registered by the General Osteopathic Council in Swansea and Brecon
David has written articles for the British Osteopathic Journal and the Journal of Osteopathic Education.
He has a family of two children, is member of the Swansea Bay Rotary Club and enjoys cycling, swimming, reading and trying to learn the saxophone.
